  • The visual material, naming of products and other associated Copyrighten material shown on this website falls into two distinct categories. As a part of displaying our design process Capron Design publishes original design work, of both a virtual and physical nature. Also at times as a part of displaying the design ideation process in a transperant form, we do analyse and critique designs that have been published by other designers and companies.

    (1) Where ever a design, name or image is not the property of Capron Design it shall be clearly stated. In this case the materials are reviews of existing and non-Capron Design designs. Under the Australian Commonwealth Copyright Act of 1968 the material displayed under these circumstances is covered by the fair dealing policy, an excerpt of which is shown below;

    COPYRIGHT ACT 1968 - SECT 41
    Fair dealing for purpose of criticism or review
    A fair dealing with a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, or with an adaptation of a literary, dramatic or musical work, does not constitute an infringement of the copyright in the work if it is for the purpose of criticism or review, whether of that work or of another work, and a sufficient acknowledgement of the work is made.

    (2) All other material that appears on this website, are designs published by or worked on by Capron Design and are the Copyrighten property of Capron Design Pty Ltd or the clients of Capron Design Pty Ltd from the date of publication, or earlier where indicated. Where the materials are the property of the clients of Capron Design Pty Ltd, the materials are published with the full consent of said clients.

    We do not plan to intentionally infringe on anyone’s Copyright, so if you have an issue with something we have written or displayed, drop us an email. We are more than happy to discuss any Copyright issues further.
