Fringe Furniture 2009 - Opening Night

On the 23rd September the 25th Fringe Furniture exhibition was opened, with the theme of “Silver”. CAPRON design was proud to participate by displaying the RIENT Stool. The evening was a bohemian mixture of a live performance art show, a festival opening ceremony, an awards presentation and an opportunity for people to enjoy a beer or wine a walk through and eclectic collection of furniture pieces.

This year’s theme has been interpreted literally, symbolically, spiritually and broadly by the artists and designers who have entered work into the exhibition.

The collection is a very broad sample of Melbourne (and Australia’s) creative talent. The exhibition runs from the 24th September to the 10th of October, in the Arts House, Meat Market at 5 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne.

The exhibition is open to the public and entry is free of charge.
